STI Innsbruck is a research institute at the University of
Innsbruck<http://www.uibk.ac.at/>with a current focus on scalable
on-line communication. STI Innsbruck is
developing the Semantic Communication Engine Innsbruck (SCEI, pronounced
“sky”) which includes methods and tools for highly scalable on-line
communication supporting processes, such as yield, brand, and reputation

*Senior Developer and Leader for the Semantic Communication Engine Innsbruck
*

(40 hours/week)****

The person in this role will architect, design, and lead the development
and product management of SCEI, a product for highly scalable on-line
communication. She/he will work together with the business leader and
product marketing to understand requirements, create a detailed
architecture, identify required engineering resources and product needs,
and supervise and work closely with the software engineering team in order
to develop the product.****

Excellent knowledge and experience in software design and architecture****

Strong desire and proven ability to lead a software development team ****

Good knowledge and interest in programming with Ruby on Rails, Java, JSON
and database skills as well as experience in technical product management

Experience in building enterprise class and/or large scale web applications*

Experience with Content Management Systems, i.e. Drupal****

Successfully completed Masters in Computer Science, or a related area****
