I'm surprised nobody has mentioned eXist - a pretty nice, open source, 
XML database.  There's a blogging/wiki platform (Atomic) built on top of 
it.  Details are at exist-db.org  (Note: They're in the middle of a 
major new release, and a lot of the documentation, and the Atomic stuff, 
seems to be in flux.)
