[TED] a strawman for accessing XML data (with or without a schema; with or without an XML data document)

All,

I uploaded a strawman proposal for the interaction betzeen RIF and XML data and/or XML schemas [1], as input for the discussion at the F2F, in addition to Gary's proposal [2]. This is a draft and I discovered XPath 2.0 on Friday: so, please, pardon the approximations!

Refering to Dave's analysis [3], Gary addresses the first approach proposed by Dave in his conclusion (*library of translators*), whereas my proposal addresses the second approach (*abstract datatypes*). Unfortunately, we do not have a strawman for the third approach, at this stage (*single meta translator*).

I linked all three documents from the reading list for the F2F [4].

Cheers,

Christian
