Here's a copy of Wikimedia's public domain world map, with some RDFa
embedded into it:


Also an N-Triples dump of the data extracted from it:


And the script used to produce it:


One could easily imagine adding in other RDFa data such as populations,
GDP, etc. Then with the RDFa API and a little Javascript, a web page
could apply colour coding to the map based on demographics (i.e.
highlight all countries with a per-capita GDP above 20,000 USD.)
