Hello all, just joined the WG

Hello working group,

I've just joined as a representative from MarkLogic. This is my first
foray into standards work, but it's been something that has interested
me for a very long time, so I jumped at the chance since starting to
work for a w3c member.

You may know MarkLogic as a player in the XML space; several of my
colleagues have been involved in XML standards work for a long time.
I've been a MarkLogic user for many years, and have become convinced
that our product could be a great triple store. There's already been
some work toward this end -- I'm interested in helping MarkLogic to
better understand the RDF space and to be able to converse with existing
and new customers about a wider range of technology solutions for our
product.

In my last position at O'Reilly Media , my team of engineers built an
RDF-based enterprise-wide metadata system which continues to power much
of O'Reilly's infrastructure. It felt like we had hit upon a method of
enterprise integration which laid the foundation for a new architecture
- one which dramatically lessened the cost of data and systems
management over time. I'm really looking forward to helping to further
these causes, tell the stories, and assist in whatever way I can to help
mature the standards. Thank you for the opportunity to get started!

Charles
