Any other reference by description protocols?

Hi,
I realize this is somewhat impolite to ask, but does anyone know of any protocols similar to TAP's?  Is TAP alone?  And can anyone suggest any other rdf databases that have a good mix of classes and instances (other than odp, daml case studies, etc)?
