RDFa test case #1 missing @profile?

I took the 1st test case I could find ...

http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/RDFa/testsuite/xhtml1-testcases/0001.xhtml

and ran it thru the GRDDL service
   http://www.w3.org/2007/08/grddl/

and got nothing like the expected results.
http://www.w3.org/2006/07/SWD/RDFa/testsuite/xhtml1-testcases/0001.sparql

so I looked at the source and I found no @profile, despite...

"There SHOULD be a @profile attribute on the head element that includes
the value http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml/vocab."
    http://www.w3.org/TR/rdfa-syntax

Is the test input just buggy? Or did I miss the explanation of why
this particular SHOULD doesn't apply?
