So there's this interesting blog post about the Open Web:

The *first* principle is:

  * Decentralization - Rather than controlled by one entity or 
centralized, the web is decentralized -- anyone can create a web site or 
web service.


I wonder, when will this rather obvious point also be applied to 
defining semantic vocabularies? :)
