There are bad syntax tests for zero operations in an update request:

syntax-update-bad-01.ru
syntax-update-bad-02.ru
syntax-update-bad-03.ru

I think it is better to allow zero operations in a requests: rather than
one or more. It can help code generated cases, it's a ping on the graph
store, and commenting out blocks when debugging.
