 Hi Dawg,

I promised to give a bit of a status report as to what test sets in the
'old' suite are out-of-date and which need to be examined further and
moved. Here's a quick breakdown. I denote each test set with its
manifest and on the next line a short comment on its status. The ones
where there is a comment in ALL CAPITALS are the ones that still need to
be examined for moving and possible restructuring.

Anyway:

	<BasicGraphPatterns/manifest.ttl>
	# out-of-date

	<BNodes/manifest.ttl>
	# moved (data-r2/bnode-coreference)

	<Optional/manifest.ttl>
	# moved (data-r2/optional)

	<part1/manifest.n3>
	# outdated syntax (optional tests)

	<i18n/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED

	<simple/manifest.n3>
	# moved (data-r2/triple-match)

	<simple2/manifest.n3>
	# outdated syntax

	<examples/manifest.n3>
	# redundant, covered by extracted-examples

	<OpenWorld/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED (and inspected)

	<ExprBuiltins/manifest.ttl>
	# moved (data-r2/expr-builtins)

	<Expr1/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE MOVED (filter nesting)

	<Expr2/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE MOVED (boolean effective value)

	# <ExprEquals/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE EXAMINED
	# value equality tests. contains comments that these tests
	# are badly formulated because they do value equivalence rather
	# than graph equivalence.

	<extracted-examples/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED
	# needs update to check correspondence with latest WD

	<Filter/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE MOVED
	# filter scope and order tests

	<rdfSemantics/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE EXAMINED
	# test cases for various simple entailment cases, needs
        # up-to-date check in terms of current semantics

	<regex/manifest.n3>
	# moved (data-r2/regex)

	<rf1/manifest.ttl>
	# out of date tests for query result format spec. need not be
	# moved.

	<Select/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED
	# merge with other manifest to reduce number of subdirs

	<SolutionSeq/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED / EXAMINED

	<sort/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED

	<Sorting/manifest.n3>
	# only single test. merge with sort/manifest.

	<source-named/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE MOVED / EXAMINED
	# named graph test cases.

	<SourceSimple/manifest.n3>
	# to be examined. I think these are out-of-date and superceded.

	<source-simple2/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE MOVED/EXAMINED
	# queries using the GRAPH keyword.

	<survey/manifest.ttl>
	# out of date. tests from survey paper by Haase et al.
	# still relevant?

	<TypePromotion/manifest.ttl>
	# TO BE MOVED / EXAMINED

	<unsaid-inference/manifest.n3>
	# out-of-date, superceded by new syntax tests

	<ValueTesting/manifest.n3>
	# TO BE MOVED / EXAMINED
	# needs sorting. seems to mix evaluation and parsing tests.

HTH.
