I believe the latest editor's draft, 1.81, (http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/ 
DataAccess/proto-wd), addresses these three concerns by:

- adding a table of prefix-URI mappings
- removing the inconsistent language from the status section
- adding a listing of the documents comprising the protocol

Does that address yr comments? Thanks for yr help with this spec.
