Hi Mark:

It is quite strange to finally respond to your message from 9 years ago [1],
but the RDF recommendations had remained unchanged for a number of years,
and the current RDF WG is finally getting around to addressing remaining
comments on the public-rdf-comments mailing list.

You commented that the 2004 version of the media type application/rdf+xml [2]
does not say that the use of this media type requires assertion of the
triples encoded in the document, although there was previous discussion on
this point.   Do you still believe that something should be done to address
this issue?
