Orthogonal to the context of the comment above, I really need clarity 
about "connection parameters" and R2RML. Are they important or not?

Ashok, please note the above since you brought this up in one context 
and then appeared to want to put it down when I suggested doing this 
right via a superset of ODBC and JDBC.

This is an important matter that needs clarification.
