Startlingly, some database heads don't see RDF at the center of the
world (yes, I've suggested to them that they've spent their last 40
years on the wrong technology, but they persist in this belief,
despite the clear market domination of RDF over SQL). Peter Boncz
eloquently expressed a desire to join against the LOD cloud in an SQL
query¹.

Peter, you might want to geek with us a bit to help us make this pipe
flow two ways.
