           Summary: inconsistent definition of idiv
Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
           Version: Candidate Recommendation
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/CR-xquery-semantics-20060608/
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Formal Semantics
        AssignedTo: simeon@us.ibm.com
        ReportedBy: anthony@cbcl.co.uk
         QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org

Sections C.2 of Formal Semantics defines the argument types of idiv to be
xs:integer. XPath CR and Functions and Operators CR both suggest that it should
accept xs:numeric.
