Added the following sentence to clarify:

In that grammar, "String" represents the value space of xs:string, "Decimal"
represents the value space of xs:decimal, etc. In each case, those
non-terminals stand for a set of syntactic objects each of which correspond to
a value in the corresponding value space. For instance "String" stand for all
string values, and are written in this specification as "", "a", "John", etc.
