The Joint WGs considered your request for introspection facilities in 
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-qt-comments/2004Feb/0426.html
The WGs declined to add this functionality arguing that it was complex and
should be postponed to vNext.  It was also pointed out that some introspection
facilities already existed such as instance-of.

I trust that this is satisfactory.
