The script has been obsoleted by a PerlSAX-based filter that would
easily fit into some bigger error-reporting infrastructure long ago,
but with no such infrastructure to build upon, there was no reason
to actually release that.

Well, I could give you permission to use my code that way, so long
as you agree not to mention that part of the code came from me, if
