Re: epubcheck prospectus

Well understood Tzviya.
I’m trying to find the best way to ease the load on epubcheck along the EPUB 3.2 move.

Hi Luc,

It is not so simple because epubcheck was never implemented for 3.1. A thorough review of the differences between 3.0 and 3.2 is needed. Even though many of these are subtle, every MAY/MUST/SHOULD change to the spec generates a change to epubcheck. Further, the changes we made to some of the references (such as the way we call HTML) generates changes in epubcheck.

Best,
Tzviya

Thank you Tzviya,

In the idea of 3.2, I hope there is a much simpler eye for epubcheck dev, that is not to implement 3.1 features, as they are « removed » in 3.2…
