Below is the provenance model as defined in ISO 19115: Geographic Information - Metadata. This diagram is from the current draft for a revision to the document. I will post the draft revision of the ISO metadata document to a public site and provide the group the URL. I can provide a higher resolution figure if required. The diagram was exported from the UML model for ISO spatial metadata.
