Do you mean the new repo should be a copy/clone of that repository?

Personally I am not sure, but I let the others decide. The reason of my hesitation is that the intention of the new repo would be to look at the future, so to say, whereas your repo (or the hg repo) is, in some sense, the history. A history that we should remain intact (except for possible testing bugs, that you already took care of; thanks for those!).

A possibility is that I copy this repository into the new one, but I create a 'product' for the rec to have a frozen version, and the group can take it from there. But, again, I am not sure that is what the group wants.

Paul, Luc? I do whatever you prefer (if we go the github way, that is…)
