Mark- there is a tendency (by the industry) to over-hype these as "solutions" when there are lacking alternatives.

We did do some work [1] based on privacy use cases, then designed some relevant icons (and tested), then mapped to a machine language. Although not a full solution....it moved a bit closer to the end game...
