I've removed the mime type suffixes where relevant.  I left them in
place for things that were the equivalent of the HTML document.href as I
think these just represent the URL that was requested (see the GET lines
above the example).  All feedback here welcome.

I think that's a great idea and something we definitely try to bake into
the services we develop.  Can you provide some examples of how the OGC
do this and maybe update the examples I posted on the wiki to show how
you'd like that to work.
