Dear all, I would like to introduce myself to share our objectives in this WG. My name is Jose Gato and I work at the research group GSyC/LibreSoft[1] at University Rey Juan Carlos. This research groups is 100% focused on FLOSS, and regarding this WG we have a research line about mobile devices, social networks and augmented reality. In this research line, we are working in a geolocated social network with his own augmented reality engine, LibreGeoSocial[2]. This AR engine also allows user to tag the reality in 3D using his mobile device. Currently we are also working on image processing and image recognition techniques to apply in the AR engine, to recognize objects and geolocate users.
