many thanks to all those who have posted on this thread (and to Jens who is keeping us/the posts on topic!). This is great input and I think it is safe to conclude from the level and quality of response that the "social media" aspect of AR applications must not be excluded or omitted from the scope of discussions and future work. One of the possible liaisons of the new AR WG can be with the group or activities which emerge from the W3C Social Web Incubator Group. the SWXG is just wrapping up, but if you are interested, visit these pages: main page of the XG [1], mailing list archives [2] and wiki [3].
