Thank you for accepting me in PLING and let me also introduce myself and my motives for participating: I have three roles that make PLING interesting for me. I am 1) ISO project editor of the two privacy standards being developed at the ISO JTC1 SC27 WG 5 at the moment, 2) PhD student at Goethe University in Frankfurt/Germany researching on "information privacy in social networking applications" with the goal of designing a privacy-preserving IT artefact for social networking apps using semantic technology, and 3) Senior Manager at Deloitte's security & privacy practice with an interest in the auditing side of the web policy languages discussion. My interests are most likely pretty similar to you all but they are focused very much on methods to build a privacy-rights management system (applied to social networks or web applications in general) and on security and privacy controls in web standards from a compliance point of view. I am hoping for interesting discussions in this group and look forward to participate in whichever way I can. Best regards, StefanReceived on Tuesday, 11 December 2007 13:57:56 GMT
