It might be confusing for inexperienced users however, for example secondary school students or those who are new to screen readers for other reasons.

Braille users have to pan the display to skip repetitive content - mildly annoying for me, but not serious. However, the above point still applies: what’s annoying for me could be outright confusing for the inexperienced.
