RE: Question on TITLE element and LIVE regions

It doesn't appear so. I've attached a test file to demonstrate this, and there is no evidence of the title element in the accessibility tree.

I think the safest bet is to use an H1 element that includes the same text as the title and make this a live region instead.

A developer asked me if you put a LIVE region on the TITLE element.

Is this something that would be communicated in the Accessibility API?

Is this something we want authors to do?

The use case is an application build on Angular.js, so the URL does change. They want to changes in page content announced using changes in the TITLE element content.
