Minutes for ARIA subteam call, Monday, March 10th 2014 https://www.w3.org/2014/03/10-aria-minutes.html Most of the discussion was around ISSUE-636: Continue discussion of @aria-roledescription (custom role descriptions on known role types) https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/issues/636 No resolution, but we got closer to consensus to use this on limited roles, such as group and region, but disallow its use on widget roles that have some implied functionality based on the presented role name. Rich took an action to continue the discussion on-list: ACTION-1398: Email list with discussion points for localized custom role names on known role types: role inheritance hierarchy, roadmap towards custom roles outlined, localization implications, potential for subroles etc. https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/Group/track/actions/1398
