CFC - Call For Consensus - semantics for personlization as a vocabulary

Call For Consensus — ends Wednesday October 24th at 14:27 pm Boston time.

The task force has discussed whether we should do the semantics for personlization as a vocabulary. There are concerns about making implementations sometimes more difficult, but it will take time to gather evidence to see if the concerns can not be elegantly addressed as a vocabulary. In the mean time we need to move forward. The current consensus is to continue with the specification as a vocabulary for now, and ask the public at the next working draft and make the final decision by the working draft after that.

The minutes of the discussion are at https://www.w3.org/2017/10/23-personalization-minutes.html

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the Call For Consensus deadline.

All the best
