Dear Web Payments Working Group, We received 6 supportive responses to the Call for Consensus [1] proposing to remove regionCode from Payment Request at this time. Elizabeth Koumpan suggested a note about anticipated support for the feature after version 1, which the Editor incorporated into the pull request [2]. There were no objections. Therefore, the Chairs record a decision that the proposal carries. The Editors can now remove the feature from the specification; for details see [2].
