Dear Web Payments Working Group, We received 4 supportive responses to the Call for Consensus [1] proposing to remove languageCode from Payment Request API at this time. There were no objections. In previous conversations I also heard informal support from Apple, Microsoft, and Mozilla participants. Therefore, the Chairs record a decision that the proposal carries. The Editors can now remove the feature from the specification; for details see [2].
