Hello/Introductions

Hi all. It's been just shy of a week since the Public Alert CG has
launched, so I'm going to go ahead and get things started. Right now
there's just three people (including me) in the group, but I expect this to
group a fair amount once things get rolling.

First off, are any of you working *on behalf* of your company, as in on
company time? My initial thought is to have a video conference, with me
explaining the general idea that I had. What times work for you, if you're
interested in a video conference? I can primarily do weekends, as I'm a
full time college student. I am located on the US east coast (currently
UTC-0500), although my times can be quite flexible.

Also, let's introduce ourselves! I'm Jacob, and am currently a first-year
student at RIT in Rochester, NY, USA. I haven't done a lot with
specifications, but have coded a significant amount in the past few years.
I'm a student web developer for RIT, but other than that I'm (basically)
the same as any other college student here.
