Dear All,

Responding to CR comments is in hand (there have been relatively few
comments -- see [1]), there are numerous implementations (see [2]),
and testing is well underway (see [3]). We therefore hope to be able
to resolve at a WG teleconf on Wednesday 5th August 2009 that all of
the existing Candidate Recommendation and Last Call documents (see
[4]) are ready for publication as Proposed Recommendations. Just to
be clear, the set of documents is as follows:

  1. owl2-overview Document Overview
  2. owl2-syntax Structural Specification and
Functional-Style Syntax
  3. owl2-mapping-to-rdf Mapping to RDF Graphs
  4. owl2-direct-semantics Direct Semantics
  5. owl2-rdf-based-semantics RDF-Based Semantics
  6. owl2-conformance Conformance
  7. owl2-profiles Profiles
  8. owl2-primer Primer
  9. owl2-new-features New Features and Rationale
10. owl2-quick-reference Quick Reference Guide
11. owl2-xml-serialization XML Serialization
14. rdf-plain-literal rdf:PlainLiteral: A Datatype for
RDF Plain Literals

In addition, we hope to vote that the following Public Working Drafts
are ready to be published as Working Group Notes:

12. owl2-manchester-syntax Manchester Syntax
13. owl2-dr-linear Data Range Extension: Linear
Equations

The PR decision will necessarily depend on ongoing implementation and
testing efforts, and on the completion of a suitable implementation
report. However, given the progress to date, it seems reasonable to
plan on making these decisions on the above mentioned date.

This are important decisions, so please make sure that you either
attend the teleconference or register a proxy vote with
one of the chairs.

Thanks,
Alan & Ian
