PhD Position - Searching Information by Linked Open Data
Within the GIS group you will investigate an innovative approach to searching place-related information by Linked Open Data (LOD) and explore its implementation as a software artifact. You will publish your results in an international scientific context and be enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of Zurich.
You have a Master degree in computer science, geoinformatics, natural language processing or a related domain. You are familiar with symbolic logic, soft computing and with software development (Java, J2EE). An independent scientific work style is required and experience in relational databases and GIS as well as basic skills in German are an advantage.
