Re: Early draft of shared activity list

My apologies. I recently joined OpenActive, and I didn't introduce myself.
In brief, I work for CTIC, a Spanish technology centre involved in *-Data.
Also, playing the role of Head at W3C Office in Spain, and Athletics
enthusiast.

Currently, I'm working on a model to represent Athletics (high-level
events, competition management, competitors and results) [1]. We call it
OpenTrack, and we recently opened a Community Group. European Athletics is
supporting the idea of having this common vocabulary to represent Athletics
so we will spread our work with other federations easily. All works are
public in our Github repo [2].

Apart from the conceptual model, I'm trying to define a taxonomy of
Athletics disciplines that can be aligned with yours. We are at an early
stage [3] but I see some points where I can provide feedback to this
activity list. Taxonomy of disciplines [3] includes the type of events and
some properties needed to represent each one (i.e., pentathlon is different
if held either indoors or outdoors). Should I comment on / edit the
spreadsheet or just reply by email? I'm glad to collaborate.

Of course, since our idea is creating a subsequent RDF schema, along with
some SKOS taxonomies, we'll be aligned with OpenActive and other existing
works.
