Re: Booking API - Summary of Design Feedback

Hi all,

As Leigh has outlined, we plan to discuss proposed changes on the 7th
November call, this Wednesday.

Please find a summary of the proposed changes relating to the booking flow,
including diagrams, in the document below:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JMWMMh-78P5RuiXHgKbBa_Rq6CIVW1hIF4Qzl2eRUTg/edit

This proposal aims to satisfy the following points of feedback, by
providing optionality without increasing complexity:

   - Allow anonymous and named leasing, where supported by the booking
   system
   - Provide a low barrier to entry for small booking systems
   - Allow booking with a single call
   - Allow booking to succeed even if lease has expired
   - Use one simple flow

Please do comment on the doc with any thoughts in advance of Wednesday!

Look forward to talking through and discussing on the call.

Many thanks,

Nick
