Re: doubt about "Synset / Concept" class

This is a pretty neat explanation of the issue.  But, as Aldo suggests, we should focus on the initial *if*.  As far as I am concerned, my position on  the *if* has been perfectly captured by Philipp:

So we should not treat SKOS concept as being really different from OWL concepts at the lexicon level. Such distinctions are very subtle and people will not grasp this difference, having doubts on which property to use in a particular case. 

In summary, I'm sympathetic  with Aldo's principled distinction within the realms of semantics but I don't think it should be a requirement for our meta-model. 

As a community group we must avoid the risks of misusing the onto-lex meta-model. 
This risk depends *also* on providing an over-complex framework of representation. Note that an overly dense and rich model might also turn out to be useless: a very fresh example in my mind is the EML (Emotional Mark-up Language).
