Next telco

Dear all,

   the last ontolex telco for this year will be on the 21st of December 
at our regular slot, i.e. 15:00 - 16:00 (CET).

After our discussion last week I chanked requirement 1 ("Express meaning 
with respect to ontology")

"/The sense object is unique for a given pair of lexical entry and 
ontological entity"

I removed it because I am not sure we really need this constraint. If 
someone knows a reason, please *shout* now or be siltent forever ;-)

Also, I added the following to the requirement 2 ("Terminological Analysis")

*It is not the goal*of the lexicon-ontology model to specify how the 
compositional structure of the term relates to the composition of the 
complex concept i refers

On the telco on the 21st I would like to briefly all requirements. My 
goal is to reach a final vote on the requirements in January so that we 
can move in February at the very latest to the specification of the 
model on an example-driven fashion.

Can I ask the following people to provide  a draft of the requirements:

Lupe/Elena: "Properties and relations of lexical" entries: can you try 
to come up with a text that summarizes the agreement on the requirements 
similar to the one I have provided for reqs 1,2 and 4 for the telco on 
the 21st?

John: could you provide s short synthesis of the requirements on 
"Modelling Lexical Resources" following the style of my text for 
requirements 1,2 and 4.

Armando: could you provide a short synthesis of the requirements on 
"Metadata" following the style of my text for requirements 1,2 and 4 
(the synthesis)

Thanks to all for your great work and input to this working group. We 
will be soon done with the requirements. Designing the core model will 
be more fun, I promise! Thanks for bearing with the group!
