Technical Documentation in the Semantic Web Community Group Proposed

The Technical Documentation in the Semantic Web Community Group has been proposed:

--------------------------------------------------

The complexity of machines and software has grown dramatically in the
past years. The technical documentation became a fundamental source for
service technicians and professionals in their daily work. Fast and
focused access methods are necessary to handle massive volumes of
technical documents. Semantic technologies have proven their ability to
improve accessibility of information (see Linked Open Data). However,
existing corpora of technical documents are usually not semantically
prepared. This group shall focus on applying semantic technologies to
technical documentation. All peers (individuals or projects) can state
their needs (input) and offers (output).
