URI Specification Community Group Proposed

The URI Specification Community Group has been proposed:

--------------------------------------------------

The URI Specification Community Group endeavors to produce a formal
specification of the ad hoc URI/URL standard described by RFC 3986/3987
and the WHATWG URL Living Standard. The deliverable is a single formal
specification source document from which a typical standards document
can be generated as well as a set of theorems over the concepts
described and an executable test oracle for each specified function.
