Emergency Information Community Group Proposed

The Emergency Information Community Group has been proposed:

--------------------------------------------------

The aim of the Emergency Information Community Group is to support the
development of semantic vocabularies and common frameworks for
information interoperability to ensure the meaningful sharing and
aggregation of information to assist in emergency, crisis, and
humanitarian functions. This Community Group provides a forum for the
exchange of ideas and experiences, scenarios and requirements, and the
development of community specifications to drive future formal
standardisation.
