I have recently launched a new Facebook group - The Social Mobile Group - for non-profit organizations, ICT professionals and members of the general public interested in the growing impact and uses of mobile technology in developing countries. I am hoping to build a valuable interest group for the community and believe that this could prove to be a great resource for all of us working in the field. At the time of this posting the group has 170 members from all around the world - a great mixture of renown bloggers, mobile practioners, ICT professionals, authors, researchers, developers and members of the general public with an interest in this area.
