Musikmesse 2017 Meeting Agenda [via Music Notation Community Group]

We look forward to seeing many of you at the W3C Music Notation Community Group
meeting at the Musikmesse fair in Frankfurt. The meeting will be held
on Friday, 7 April 2017 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Logos/Genius conference
room outside Hall 9.1. This is the same room where we held the meeting last
year.

Here is our agenda for the meeting:

2:30 pm: Introduction, agenda, and sponsor message
  2:35 pm: SMuFL 1.2 update
  2:40 pm: MusicXML 3.1 discussion
  3:05 pm: MNX discussion
4:20 pm: Encoding graphics and performance data
4:30 pm: Reception sponsored by Steinberg
  5:30 pm: End of reception

For the MusicXML 3.1 discussion we have a few specific topics to cover:

Overview of what is new in version 3.1
  Status of open issues
Does the list of issues in the 3.1 milestone on GitHub reflect what we want
for MusicXML 3.1? Are there issues missing?
  Timetable for release

We are still working on the organization of the MNX discussion. This will be
based in large part on the lively discussion underway on the contributor
mailing list.

Please sign up on our Google form at https://goo.gl/forms/MBBjVjnm3TzeZIz52 if
you plan to attend the meeting. This will help ensure that we have enough room
and refreshments for everyone.

You will need a Musikmesse ticket to attend the meeting. These cost 30 euros and
are available online at www.musikmesse.com.

We look forward to seeing you in Frankfurt!

Best regards,

Michael Good, Daniel Spreadbury, and Joe Berkovitz
