Re: Meeting at Music Encoding Conference 2016?

Hi all,

I think this idea is terrific. As a co-chair of the W3C Notation CG I'm
very interested in fostering more contact and exchange between the CG and
the MEI community. The MEC unconference day seems like a perfect
opportunity for this.

Daniel Spreadbury, Michael Good and I were also discussing the possibility
of attending MEC recently. Apparently Daniel can't make it; I'll discuss
further with Michael next week in Frankfurt.

I'm less plugged into MEC than most of you (I have not attended this event
before), but I'd be happy to help organize and publicize this to whatever
extent possible. If we can agree that Friday's the day, I'll let attendees
in Frankfurt know about it.

Best,

. . . . . ...Joe
