discussing terminology related to lqi

where should we have it - in lqi section or in appendix?

<chriLi> Automated or manual quality assessment is one area of
QM. An example of existing quality assessments are in-country
reviews (e.g. as part of a language acceptance test for
software). An important ingredient to quality assessments is
the list of "issue categories" that are being used. Very often,
simple issue categories like "correct/incorrect" or
"like/dislike" are inadequate - rather, more specific ones such
as "terminology" or "grammar" are more helpful.

in lqi section ok with everybody

above paragraph can be an input to that

<chriLi> One more sentence: Language technology is often used
in the context of Quality Management (QM).

arle will write 1-3 max paragraph in lqi section using
christian's paste on IRC as an input to cover the definition of
terms needed to understand LQI section

"source text into a target language or on the source text
itself" > replace "text" by "content. have additional hints
that ITS 2.0 not only about text but about content

add an additional example (in the lqi implementation section)
based on

ISO/TS 11669:2002

2002 needs to be 2012

"[ISO/TS 11669:2002]. Details about translation specifications
are available at [Structured Specifications].": Arle and
Christian will discuss via mail how to make the releveance of
the references clear

mail thread will cover "translation specification" definition
comment

"I wonder if this pointer is stable and detailed enough.
Currently, the pointer goes to version 0.6 of a document.":
also part of mail thread

" Issues are grouped into categories (e.g. related to
differentiate spelling errors from grammar errors)."

"Information that can help to group issues into categories
(e.g. related to differentiate spelling errors from grammar
errors)."

"A classifier that can help to group issues into categories
(e.g. related to differentiate spelling errors from grammar
errors)."

<chriLi> +1

"A classifier that can help to group issues into categories
(for example to differentiate spelling errors from grammar
errors)."

"A classifier that can help to group similar issues into
categories (for example to differentiate spelling errors from
grammar errors)."

above edit has agreement

"A human-readable description of the quality issue." > "A
human-readable description of a specific quality issue."

<philr> +1

"It is up to tools to map the values of this to their own
system to this scale." > "... the values allowed by ITS 2.0"

<Arle> It is up to tool so map the severity values allowed by
ITS 2.0 to their own system’s scale.

<Arle> It is up to tools to map the severity values allowed by
ITS 2.0 to their own system’s scale.

ok by everybody

<Arle> Tadej, GTM number is 812-637-517

<tadej> thanks, apologies for the delay

" the model generating the metadata." > "the model underlying
the metadata"?

<chriLi> Severity: A classifier for the seriousness of an
issue. The seriousness depends on the Quality Model that is
being applied. The Quality Model should be made explicit via
the Profile Reference.

"Severity: A classifier for the seriousness of an issue. The
seriousness depends on the Quality Model that is being applied.
The Quality Model should be made explicit via the Profile
Reference.": works as content of "Description" cell for
"severity" column

"The use of resolvable IRI" > "The use of resolvable IRIs"

<Arle> A reference to a document describing the quality
assessment model (or a profile of a model, where relevant) used
for the issue.

A reference to a description of the quality assessment model
(or a profile of a model, where relevant) used for the issue.

above text works - but still need to add a note what a profile
is
