You could argue that if each target is 9mm wide and well delineated from neighbours, it would be OK to present targets without spacing. Think of a row of square icons with outlines or contrasting colors. This row should be operable by touch without any spacing. Once targets get smaller than 9 mm, spacing would be needed. But I am not sure whether this view is shared by others - it's just a draft that we can change. Best, Detlev
