RE: Low-res video streams from the Workshop

Hi Arle,

I’m not sure if you are going to upload the slides of the sessions (maybe some speakers want to keep them private) or if they are already available somewhere (I looked up in http://www.multilingualweb.eu/en/documents/rome-workshop/rome-cfp and couldn’t find anything). I’m interesting in reviewing a couple of them.

Sorry for the inconveniences and thank you again for organizing an amazing Workshop! J

Cheers,

Asunto: Low-res video streams from the Workshop

Hello all again,

We now have links to recordings of the relatively low-res streaming video from the program in Rome. These are recordings for each day, so they aren'y yet as convenient as the final videos will be when posted.

Here are the URLS

http://webcast.fao.org/20130312-OCP-floor-day-one (March 12)

http://webcast.fao.org/20130312-OCP-floor-day-two (March 13)

Depending on your browser configuration, these streams may either play in your browser or download a small ASF (Windows Media) file that will play in an external media player. (Please note that we are unable to provide technical support on getting these files to play, but ASF support is very good on Windows and is readily available through the free VLC player for a variety of other operating systems: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html.)

It will be a little while before we can post the full-res video files for the sessions, but these smaller files will provide you with access to the content now.

Best regards,

Arle Lommel

P.S. Thanks to FAO for making, posting, and hosting these recordings.
