Videos from the Rome MultilingualWeb Workshop now available

Dear colleagues,

We are writing to let you know that on-demand video for each of the sessions from the last MultilingualWeb Workshop in Rome is now available through Workshop report (http://www.multilingualweb.eu/rome-report). If you missed the Workshop or want to see more details about a session you attended in person or online, you now have access to all of the sessions and slides presented in the main room at the workshop.

The Workshop was sponsored by the EU-funded QTLaunchPad project (http://www.qt21.eu/launchpad) and Verisign (http://www.verisigninc.com). According to Pat Kane, senior vice president of Naming and Directory Services at Verisign, “During the W3C Rome Workshop we were able to identify the gaps holding organizations back from achieving a truly multilingual Internet and discuss best practices that will further our collective goal of achieving a web void of cultural borders.”

All video can be accessed either via the Workshop report or from the Videolectures site (http://videolectures.net/w3cworkshop2013_rome/).

The Multilingual Web Workshop series is run by the MultilingualWeb-LT group (http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/). If you have any questions or comments concerning the video or workshop report, please write to Dr. Arle Lommel (arle.lommel@dfki.de).

Best regards,

Arle Lommel
