We also *need* (2 compliant) implementations if we wish to keep all 
server-helped byte ranges mappings in the spec.

Yes, that was the trigger of my email.

For me, the obvious person is Yves, being an editor of the httpbis 
document and members of both WGs.
@Yves: is it worth you debrief us about the latest changes brought to 
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-httpbis-p5-range-14 and let us 
know how whether the group should answer Marc Nottingham's request or not?
